Perfect image of the Gemini twins, Castor and Pollux , known together as the Dioscuri. They are depicted on galloping horses. This Roman silver coin was minted in 121 B.C. during the time of C. Plautius. The reverse shows the helmeted head of Roma., the coin can be worn with either side showing. This is a great example of this coin which is rarely found with this detail.
