Minted by Antestius Gragulus in 136 B.C., this silver denarius coin is a beautiful example of a four horse chariot, known as a "quadriga". The chariot is driven by Jupiter who is holding a long rod in his hand. The word ROMA is at the base of the coin. The reverse has the helmeted head of Roma.
