This pendant features a silver antoninianus minted between 244-249 A.D. during the reign of Phillip I. It features a seated Roma, the female deity who personified the city of Rome and more broadly, the Roman state itself. This particular image is quite interesting in that it shows a seated Roma holding Victory in her right hand. It is unusual to have two personifications on the same coin. The reverse, whose image is inverted to the front, features the profile of Philip I.

Set in a handcrafted sterling silver frame, your gift boxed pendant pendant comes with your choice of necklace.

Your coin comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity and descriptive brochure.
