Description
Fortuna, the goddess of fortune, was the personification of good luck to the ancient Romans. She spun the "Wheel of Fortune", with some suffering misfortune while others had great windfalls. Our silver denarius was minted between 243-244 A.D. during the reign of Gordian III. His profile is on the reverse, either side can be shown.
The coin was been set in a handcrafted sterling silver mounting.
