The Roman Goddess Fides related to the character of a man. Fides meant reliabililty and a sense of trust between two parties. Fides was always mutual, implying responsibilities on both sides. The Roman Senate kept their important treaties in her temple in Rome. This silver antoninianus was issued during the reign of Philip I between 244-249 A.D. Among early Christian writers, Philip had the reputation of being sympathetic to the Christian faith. Phillips inverted profile is on the reverse side of the coin.

Our pendant is set in a frame of 14kt gold. Your gift boxed pendant will come on your choice of necklace along with a descriptive brochure and Certificate of Authenticity.
