The Lima mint, as far as Spanish coins are concerned, was sporadic, and as a result we do not see as many coins as from other Spanish mints in the new world. This silver cob coin was minted in the 1600's. A beautiful smaller one reale coin, it features a beautiful bold Spanish cross in the middle of Spain's crest is on the front side. Set in a handcrafted frame of 14kt gold, your pendant will arrive on the necklace of your choice. So called "cob" coins were minted worldwide until the 1700's when the more familiar round milled coins were issued.
