Description
This ancient Roman coin, known as a silver denarius, was minted during the rule of Lucius Appuleius Saturninus in 104 B.C. Saturninus was elected tribune of the people in 103 B.C.
The coin has a rendition of Saturn driving a four horse chariot known as a quadriga. The other side of the coin shows the head of Roma wearing a helmet. The coin is mounted in a 14kt gold frame. . The pendant is about 3/4" in diameter.
