This free-form shaped Esquel meteorite section comes from a pallasite meteorite that fell in Argentina in 1951. Weighing 25 carats, this translucent slice exhibits the beautiful olivine crystals seen in less than 1% of all meteorites. Esquel is the undisputed King of the pallasites having large, transparent, gem quality olivine crystals embedded in a very stable nickel iron matrix. A one in a million meteorite that is a thousand times rarer than diamond.
Set in a handcrafted 14kt yellow gold border, our meteorite will be shipped on a 16" designer necklace along with a descriptive brochure about the Esquel meteorite.
